A Day in the Final Stages of Training

Here’s a look at a typical day at Trig Horsemanship in the final stages of the six-week starting program. We begin with a quick groom, saddle up, and warm up in the round pen to get the horse thinking and moving correctly. From there, we head to the arena for focused schooling before finishing with a ride around the farm, including a strong canter up the hill. These sessions are an important part of preparing young horses to feel confident, capable, and ready for the next stage of their work.
