Whether starting from the basics or refining skills, each horse receives professional care, clear communication, and a structured program designed to build confidence and capability.

Starting Horses

A strong beginning sets the tone for a horse’s entire future.
This six-week starting program provides a clear, calm introduction to training for young or untouched horses. Every horse is handled with patience and consistency, building trust from the very beginning.

What’s included:

  • Safe, structured groundwork

  • Leading, tying, and basic handling

  • Introduction to saddling and gear

  • The first rides under saddle

  • Walk, trot, gallop, and confidence on the farm

  • Exposure to new environments and basic obstacles

Whether this is your horse’s first experience or a stepping stone toward future competition, the focus is always on developing a willing, confident partner.

Ongoing Training

For horses needing continued education, improvement, or refinement.
Ideal for horses coming out of the starting program, returning to work, or needing refinement in specific areas. Ongoing training focuses on building better understanding, correcting unwanted behaviour, and supporting consistent development at any stage.

Training may include:

  • Improving softness, feel, and responsiveness

  • Developing correct movement and transitions

  • Behavioural correction or problem-solving

  • Building confidence in and out of the saddle

  • Preparing for events or discipline-specific work

Each program is tailored to the horse’s level, ability, and your goals as a rider or owner. The duration of this training varies depending on each horse’s needs and the goals you are working toward.

Yearling & Young Horse On-Site Handling

Giving young horses the right start—right at home.
Early education shapes a horse’s mindset for life. On-site handling sessions ensure young horses learn in a familiar, low-stress environment.

Sessions include:

  • Foundational groundwork

  • Handling and leading skills

  • Introduction to gear and saddling preparation

  • Desensitisation

  • Float and loading training

These sessions build confidence, prepare yearlings for future training, and help create safe, well-mannered young horses.
